Raymond Weil was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1926.

After completing his commercial high school examinations, he worked in a service company for his first job, before he joined a Geneva watch company, Camy Watch S.A in 1949.

Extremely dedicated with a passion for detail, Raymond Weil immersed himself in his work, and quickly took over the management of the company, where he was to devote twenty-six years of his life.In 1976, in the middle of a watch industry crisis, Raymond Weil decided to found his own company and has built up international reckoning as one of the flagships of the Swiss watchmaking industry.

His quality modern time pieces brings together Swiss mechanical precision and watchmaking expertise with quality noble materials.

Each Raymond Weil watch is created and designed in-house and each single sparkling diamond, delicate dial, watch hand and leather stitch is painstakingly assembled by hand to give it the perfect finish.
