This Fortis Mens watch is part of the B-42 Official Cosmonauts collection.

Mars 500 is an ambitious experiment that was launched in order to test the possibility of sending a crew of cosmonauts to Mars by 2030.

Fortis is the official partner of ESA and the Russian Institute of Biomedical Problems who are responsible for the project.

The limited edition B-42 Black Mars 500 Day/Date Titanium was launched as a result of that collaboration.

Hands, numerals and indices are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability.

A day and date display is positioned at the 3 oclock mark.

Indications are bilingual, coming both in English and German.
