I hope I can help people with my blog entries on Watches.org.uk as I adore watches and have a collection of nearly seven hundred that I have collected over the last ten or so years. When I’m not scouring jumble sales and eBay for second-hand watches, I like nothing better than sitting in front of my wood-burning stove working out whose birthday is coming up next so I can buy them a watch as a present. My friends know me well enough and always humour me when I tell them about the latest watches in my collection!

The London 2012 Olympic Games will begin on the 27th of July 2012 and Omega, famous for world timekeeping watches, have launched a Countdown Clock marking 500 days to the start of the 2012 Olympics.
The Countdown Clock was unveiled in Trafalgar Square with hundreds of people there to watch.
