The London 2012 Olympic Games will begin on the 27th of July 2012 and Omega, famous for world timekeeping watches, have launched a Countdown Clock marking 500 days to the start of the 2012 Olympics.
The Countdown Clock was unveiled in Trafalgar Square with hundreds of people there to watch. In a blaze of stunning fireworks the unveiling of the Countdown Clock was attended by LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games ) Chair Seb Coe, the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Jessica Ennis Omega watches ambassador and world champion heptathlete and President of Omega, Stephen Urquhart.
